Poetry Out Loud is a national program through the National Endowment for theArts (NEA) that encourages high school students to learn about great poetry as they memorize and perform notable poems in a series of competitions that begin in the classroom and will culminate with national championships in Washington, D.C. in May 2012. I am conducting a research project to collect perspectives from school librarians in New York State about their knowledge and experience with respect to serving the information needs of students with disabilities.
This email has been sent to request your participation in this research study. Your participation would consist of accessing an online questionnaire to respond to items that ask you to reflect on your knowledge and experience related to students with disabilities. The survey questionnaire contains 20 items (two are completely optional) and an area that allows you to share information with me that may not have been addressed within the questionnaire. It is expected that participation in the survey will take approximately 10-12 minutes.
